Terms of Service
The rules, responsibilities, and operational standards governing your use of ComfyUI Workflow Lab.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to ComfyUI Workflow Lab (accessible at https://decomfy.com), a developer utility and research platform dedicated to reverse-engineering generative AI workflows into verified, reproducible ComfyUI node graphs.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and ComfyUI Workflow Lab ("we", "us", "our"), a sister laboratory within the Yellorn developer ecosystem operated by Hoang Yell.
By accessing, browsing, downloading workflows, inspecting JSON schemas, running bootstrapper scripts, or utilizing our Missing Node Resolver, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using the platform immediately.
2. Client-Side Tool Architecture
A foundational architectural invariant of ComfyUI Workflow Lab is local browser execution:
- Missing Node Auto-Resolver: When you drag and drop a Civitai PNG, ComfyUI canvas JSON, or A1111 image into the resolver, file parsing (including PNG
tEXtandiTXtmetadata extraction) is performed 100% locally inside your browser's V8/JavaScript engine via theFileReaderAPI. - Zero File Uploads: No image bytes, prompt tokens, or workflow graphs are transmitted to, stored on, or processed by our backend servers.
- Zero-to-Hero Bootstrapper: Shell scripts (Bash and PowerShell) generated by our tools are compiled client-side in real time from public node and model package registries.
3. Bring Your Own Prompt (BYOP) & User Responsibility
ComfyUI Workflow Lab operates on the White-Weapon BYOP (Bring Your Own Prompt) architecture. The workflows and recipes published here are structural engineering blueprints, VRAM-optimized node configurations, and mathematical diffusion pipelines:
- Local Hardware Execution: All model inference, image synthesis, and tensor processing occur exclusively on your local hardware (e.g., NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs, Apple Silicon Unified Memory) or your self-hosted remote workstations.
- Prompt & Output Responsibility: You retain sole and exclusive responsibility for the prompts you compose, the conditioning inputs you feed into your local ComfyUI graph, and the synthetic outputs generated by your machines.
- Legal Compliance: You agree to ensure that your local generation activities comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, regulations, and statutes governing artificial intelligence generation, synthetic media, and digital likeness.
4. Prohibited Uses & Safety Guidelines
To maintain an open, ethical engineering research environment, you agree not to use our workflows, node definitions, scripts, or guidance for any of the following prohibited purposes:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Generating, producing, facilitating, or distributing any depiction of child sexual abuse or exploitation. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy; any detected abuse will be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
- Non-Consensual Sexual Imagery (NCSI / Deepfakes): Creating realistic synthetic sexual depictions, intimate imagery, or manipulated media of real individuals without their explicit, verifiable written consent.
- Defamation, Harassment & Hate Speech: Generating content intended to stalk, defame, harass, intimidate, or promote violence against individuals or protected groups.
- Malicious Payloads & Infrastructure Attacks: Injecting malicious code into custom node repositories, crafting weaponized workflow JSON payloads, or attempting to compromise the availability or integrity of this website.
5. Third-Party Models, Nodes & Upstream Licenses
ComfyUI Workflow Lab indexes and links to third-party open-weights foundation models, diffusion transformers, LoRA adapters, and custom node extensions maintained across the global AI ecosystem (including HuggingFace, Civitai, and GitHub):
- No Direct Model Hosting: We do not host, sell, or claim ownership over multi-gigabyte binary model checkpoint files (e.g., Safetensors, GGUF). All download links and bootstrapper scripts target authoritative upstream sources.
- License Adherence: Different models carry distinct licensing covenants (e.g., CreativeML OpenRAIL, Black Forest Labs Flux Non-Commercial / Commercial Tiers, Apache 2.0, or MIT). You are strictly responsible for reviewing and adhering to the specific license terms of each model you download and run.
- Third-Party Availability: We do not guarantee the permanent availability, uptime, or safety of external links or repositories hosted outside our domain.
6. Intellectual Property & Workflow Sharing
The original editorial text, technical benchmarks, custom node resolver database, visual diagrams, and bootstrapper engine on https://decomfy.com are copyrighted works of Hoang Yell and the Yellorn ecosystem.
The curated ComfyUI workflow JSON structures published on this site are released for open technical exploration, personal study, and non-commercial reverse-engineering. When citing or redistributing our benchmark recipes, please provide clear attribution and a canonical backlink to the respective workflow recipe page on decomfy.com.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
"As-Is" Provision: ComfyUI Workflow Lab and all related scripts, utilities, and documentation are provided strictly on an "as-is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
No Inference or Compatibility Warranty: Artificial intelligence architectures and custom node implementations evolve rapidly. We do not warrant that workflows will execute without errors, that third-party node packages are free of bugs, or that specific models will fit within your hardware's VRAM constraints.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ComfyUI Workflow Lab, Yellorn, or its author be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages—including but not limited to loss of data, hardware failure, GPU overheating, system instability, or legal liabilities arising from your local generation outputs.
